Oil Power. Here is an original 35mm color slide that was taken in Chicago, Illinois, c. 1964. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9147, an ES-6 switcher built by GM-EMD in July of 1948, rated at 600 horsepower, and retired in February of 1966 after just 18 years of revenue service. The photographer's name, the exact date, as well as the road numbers of the other locomotives pictured here, are not recorded.
